Base64 Encode & Decode
Handles Unicode text (emoji, accents, any language) correctly, plus URL-safe Base64url as used in JWTs.

Base64
What is Base64?
Base64 represents binary data using 64 safe ASCII characters (A–Z a–z 0–9 + /). It's used to put binary data inside text formats: email attachments, data URIs in CSS and HTML, JSON payloads and HTTP Basic auth headers. It makes data about 33% larger.
Base64 is not encryption
Anyone can decode it instantly. Never use Base64 to "hide" passwords or secrets.
What is Base64url?
A variant that replaces + and / with - and _ and drops the = padding, so the result is safe in URLs and filenames. JWTs use it.
